Jenna spent the rest of her childhood in her parents’ company. Her dad bought her a horse for her birthday and they would go on hikes together. She got her first full-time job at the age of 15, working as an assistant to an orthopedist. She then went on to attend Columbia University where she studied broadcast journalism. Her favorite class was chemistry and she became interested in nutrition. She decided to major in biochemistry and pre-med. After college, she worked for the Clinton-Bush presidential campaign. After the election, she interned for Senator Edward M. Kennedy. In 2013, Jenna married Austin Hager, CEO of the Dallas Cowboys. They have two kids, Walker and Brooks. She frequently visits their grandma in Texas, whom she calls “Nana.”
