How Can I Lose Weight Extremely Quickly?

In the recent month of August 2020, the world lost someone extremely special – someone who was undoubtedly an inspiration to us all; a true great who called us closer to ourselves; a woman who made us feel less alone in this world; a vibrant spirit who made each one of us a little better; a brilliant mind who left us too soon.

In Memoriam: George H. W. Bush

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of a legend – former 41st President of the United States of America and my grandfather, George H. W. Bush. He passed away at the age of 94 on August 6, 2020.

It was an honor to call him “Poppy” – a nickname that I will always remember since he dearly loved plants, especially orchids. A man of few words, he was known to have said, “I’m not going to stand here and spoon-feed you,” when asked about his health. Even at the age of 94, he continued to eat a healthy diet and regularly exercised.

He will be missed and remembered for his kind spirit and boundless energy.

The Obesity Epidemic

Let’s be honest. We’re living in awful times. The world is on the precipice of an obesity epidemic. According to the World Health Organization, more than 400 million people are currently considered obese. That’s more than one-third of the world’s population. And here’s the bad news: the number of people who are considered obese is expected to hit 600 million by next year.

Let’s also remember that the scale doesn’t discriminate. Despite the fact that we have more obese people than ever before, there are also more people of all sizes than ever before. So, in theory, everyone should feel great about their bodies, especially since so many unhealthy options have been made available to us over the years.

The good news is that it’s not too late to start losing weight. There are plenty of ways to shed those extra pounds – including cutting out the foods that you know aren’t good for you and boosting your body’s natural detox process through a healthy diet and workout plan.

As we’ve already stated, we’re living in awful times, but that doesn’t mean that good things haven’t happened. Scientists are making great strides in the fields of nutrition and metabolism, and people like you and me are taking advantage of this research to help us achieve our ideal weight.

Many different studies have been conducted, but here’s one that may surprise you: it’s been proven that people who follow a low-calorie diet and exercise regularly see dramatic effects without having to drastically alter their eating patterns or workout routines.

In one study, researchers fed a group of overweight women a low-calorie diet and then had some of them follow a low-calorie diet while also performing an aerobic exercise regimen. The results were astounding: the women who followed both the exercise and diet plan lost, on average, 16 pounds in three months without having to follow any kind of fad diet.

Finally, participants in the ketogenic diet group also experienced a significant reduction in their anxiety levels.
